The real question
Quotations, contracts, calculations, design documents and personnel files: the very documents where AI helps most are the ones you least want to hand over. And in many companies AI is already in use, just without any control.
Good for general tasks, a quick rollout and standard applications. But as soon as quotations, contracts or design documents are pasted in, exactly that data leaves your premises. Where it is processed and which law applies is governed by the provider's terms.
Sounds safe, but rarely is. Employees then use ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot through private accounts on their own phones. Your data leaves all the same, only without you seeing which.
The AI sits on your premises. Your documents stay where they are. You decide who may see what, and you invest once instead of every month. Particularly interesting for sensitive company data, internal knowledge and individual permissions.
Not every AI has to run locally. If AI is already being used in your company, your own company AI is the controllable alternative for the use cases where your data matters.

Control
A connection does not mean blanket access to your company IT. You decide which systems are connected, which data is accessible and which permissions apply. Actions are only possible within the scope of the configured integration and your approvals.
Under the hood we use open standards such as MCP, APIs and OpenAPI. You don't have to understand them; we set them up. More in the technical architecture and under Security & data sovereignty.

No problem. We check the existing interfaces and APIs of your software and, where needed, develop a custom connection. Whether and to what extent that is possible, we tell you after the check, not before. In-house software, industry solutions and special interfaces are the norm in mid-sized companies, not the exception.

The AI world moves fast. That is why you are not locking yourself into a single model: we don't sell you a specific model, we sell you a system that can use suitable models for your tasks. When a better model comes along, you replace the model, not your data basis.

Technically, a model change can require a new indexing run across your knowledge sources. Your source data stays within your infrastructure throughout. Model updates are included for twelve months, after that optionally as an update service.

No. We deliver the hardware, set up the AI, connect your knowledge sources, create roles and permissions to your specification, train your team and support operation. Your IT doesn't build anything: it provides a place with power and network, the system's access to the file stores and your permission structure; what that means in detail is described in the technical architecture. What stays with you: naming contact persons, approving sources and permissions, and testing with us.
Then you replace the model, not your data basis. Your hardware and your company knowledge with sources, roles and permissions stay; the new model is installed as an update, after your approval. Cloud AI is good for general tasks, a quick rollout and standard applications. But as soon as employees paste in quotations, contracts, customer data or design documents, exactly that data leaves your premises, and the AI still doesn't know your company. Your own AI answers from your documents, respects your access permissions and processes everything on your hardware. Not every AI has to run locally. For sensitive company data, internal knowledge, local data sources, individual permissions and long-term independence, your own infrastructure is the controllable option.
When several employees regularly work with company knowledge such as manuals, contracts, quotations and documentation, and you don't want that content to sit with a provider. Even small time savings on recurring knowledge questions have a noticeable effect across several employees. The calculator in the configurator uses your number of users and your hourly rate to work out when the investment pays for itself.
Then it hasn't paid off, and we know that. That is why the rollout starts with the real questions from your day-to-day work, not with a demo. Before handover we test the AI against them; your contact persons receive a handover training session, everyone else gets the learning portal and the webinars. What helps most: the first answer with a source that saves a colleague half an hour of searching. In our experience, word gets around.
Three things: you name one or two contact persons, you approve the knowledge sources and the permission structure, and you test with us using your questions. Setup, connection, configuration, training and updates are handled by us. You don't need your own AI project team.
It stays where it is: on your drives and in your systems. The AI reads it within the permissions you define and processes questions and answers on the hardware on your premises. There is no cloud account and no third-country transfer for AI processing. Remote access for maintenance exists only if you approve it, and it is logged.
Often, yes. You may not even need new hardware. The hardware check takes two minutes to assess whether your server with graphics card can support the desired capabilities for your number of users. If the result is positive, you save the hardware share of the package: instead of the complete system from €10,000 it is then an integration on your hardware from €6,000. If your server cannot run the AI, the complete system applies.
After purchase: the electricity for the device and, if you want them, optional services: remote service at €490 per month, extended support at €290 per month, each cancellable monthly. Updates are included for twelve months, after that €1,200 per year or included in the remote service. There is no mandatory AI subscription.
Yes. With “Try & buy” you test the complete system in real operation: set up, with your documents and your employees. Daily rental 0.3 % of the purchase value, minimum 180 days, plus a deposit of 10 %. If you buy afterwards, we credit half the rental and the full deposit. If you decide against it, we collect the system and delete your data verifiably.
A ban rarely protects. In practice, employees then use private accounts on their own phones. The data leaves all the same, only invisibly. Your own AI solves the problem behind the ban: you get the benefit without your documents ending up with a provider. You can keep the ban on third-party services.
Not without your approval. Without remote service, we have no access to your system. With remote service, access exists only within the scope you define, and every session is logged. For this we conclude a data processing agreement with you.
Either you open the connection for the update process and close it afterwards, or your IT installs the update as a package. With the remote service we take care of it after your approval. In all cases, none of your data is transferred. Only the update comes in.
With AI Compact and AI Team, the AI runs on one system. If it fails, the AI is down until the device is repaired or replaced; your documents are not affected, they sit on your drives. We back up the configuration and knowledge index so that they can be restored on a replacement device. AI Enterprise is redundant by design: two systems, and the failure of one system can be absorbed by the other. We don't give a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. That wouldn't be honest for any system.
That depends on hardware availability and the scope of the knowledge sources. We state the specific schedule in the quotation. We don't promise a number of weeks we can't keep.
The interface is as simple as a chat. Contact persons receive a handover training session; everyone else gets the video learning portal and the live webinars. In our experience, most people simply get started and then ask what else is possible.
No. The system belongs to you after purchase. There is no contract term, no mandatory fee and no cancellation. Optional monthly services can be cancelled monthly.
Both, in clearly separated stages. Reading, searching and combining from approved sources are included in every connection. Defined actions such as preparing an e-mail draft, creating an issue, updating a CRM entry or handing data over to a system are possible where the interface of the respective system provides for them and you approve them. We set them up as part of the integration, with the permissions you grant for them. The AI does not get blanket access to your IT. Yes, that is the heart of the matter. File server, NAS and network drives are included in every package; Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, e-mail, Nextcloud, Confluence as well as ERP, CRM, DMS and databases can be added as connections. The documents stay where they are. The AI reads them there and cites them as the source. Common formats such as PDF, Office files, scans and e-mails are processed; special formats we clarify in conversation.
